Nominations are open for the Outstanding Career Practitioner Award, Outstanding Educator of Career Professionals Award, and Lifetime Achievement Award. Self-nominations are welcome. Nominees may be any career development professional who has continually exhibited outstanding effort to improving career development and can inspire our APCDA community members by their innovative ways of delivering theory-based and research-driven career development services. However, the person submitting the nomination must be an APCDA member.
Outstanding Career Practitioner Award
To recognize practicing career counselors or consultants for outstanding performance in day-to-day service to others. Nominations should mention:
To be eligible, nominee must have 5 years of more of career development service in education, business and industry, and/or private practice
Outstanding Educator of Career Professionals Award
To recognize professors, instructors, and teachers who have devoted their lives to the development of other professionals in the career development field. Nominations should mention:
To be eligible, nominee must have taught others about career development for 5 years of more in education, business and industry, and/or private practice
Lifetime Achievement Award
To recognize those who have spent a lifetime contributing to the career development field. Areas of contribution could include:
To be eligible, nominee must have 25 years or more of contribution in the field
