Dr. Susana E. Deustua, Ph.D. in Astronomy in from the University of Michigan, has expertise in precision spectrophotometric calibration, and observational cosmology; additional interests are solar system science, astronomy education and outreach. Dr. Deustua is a Physicist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. She shared the 2007 Gruber Prize in Cosmology and the 2015 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics awarded to the Supernova Cosmology Project for their discovery of Dark Energy.
